Our customer service representatives are supported by our technical department who are also available to you during business hours. For your convenience, we are open from 8:00AM to 7:00PM Eastern Time.

Consistent Processes and Performance

Legend maintains a 98% or greater fill rate and 99.5% or greater accuracy rate, while every order is processed within 24 hours. Whether you send your purchase order via fax, email, or EDI, it is checked several times to assure its accuracy. Emailed purchase orders are acknowledged by a return email so you know your order is being processed. Legend provides you with shipment confirmations that include tracking information either by fax or email, whichever you prefer.

All documents provided to you: order and shipment confirmations, packing lists, and invoices are sorted in the same sequence as your original purchase order. This sequencing facilitates greater efficiencies for you within your receiving and accounting departments.

World Class Information Technology

Legend has invested in world-class information technology to improve operational efficiency and enhance service to our customers. This technology includes:

  • Tier 1 enterprise resource planning (ERP), workflow management, and warehouse automation software to efficiently and effectively manage operations.
  • Leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software to electronically archive and manage documents. Our customer service representatives can access customer-related documents at the click of a mouse, enabling them to respond promptly to any inquiry from a customer.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) software to provide our management with the information it needs to effectively manage and grow the business.
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with suppliers and customers to increase accuracy and improve efficiency, both for us and our EDI partners. EDI transactions we perform include purchase order (850), order acknowledgment (855), advance shipment notice (856), and invoice (810).
  • Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) to enable our customers to meet the needs of their customers without undue investment in inventory.
  • my.legendvalve.com, our E-Commerce system, to provide visibility to product information, as well as enable our customers to interact with us electronically via web self-service applications.

7/75 Guarantee

Legend Valve and Fitting’s limited warranty warrants each product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 7 years from the date of purchase when properly installed and operated under normal use and service. Should one of these products be proven defective, Legend will replace the defective product free of charge and pay directly to the installing contractor $75 for the cost of installation, which shall be the sole and exclusive remedy. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including the warranty of MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SAID WARRANTIES BEING EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. Legend will not be liable to any buyer for any incidental, consequential, or special damages including, without limitation, lost revenues and profits, mold intrusion, or water damage.

Legend Valve does NOT warrant against failure of any product or any product used for any purpose other than a purpose authorized by Legend Valve or damage to the product caused by abuse, misuse, tampering, neglect, or natural disasters. Legend does NOT warrant against failure of any product due to external causes where external, physical, or chemical qualities produce damage to the product such as, without limitation, variations in water quality, aggressive water, or an unsuitable or hostile environment.

In the event a defect occurs that is believed to be covered by this warranty, Legend Valve Customer Services should be contacted immediately, either in writing or by telephone at 800-752-2082. Instructions will be given to return the product, at the owner’s expense, to Legend Valve or an authorized representative for inspection. In the event inspection of the product discloses that it is defective, a replacement shall be mailed free of charge to the installing contractor together with payment of $75 for the cost of installation, which shall be the sole and exclusive remedy. Some states or countries do not allow for the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and country to country. This warranty is applicable to Non-Consumer products only.
