- Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) is a voluntary program between the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and importing and logistics companies created as a result of the 9/11 attacks to enlist the trade community's involvement in the fight against terrorism.
- CTPAT members are considered low risk. As such, some of the benefits they may take advantage of are a reduced number of CBP examinations, front-of-line inspections, shorter wait times at the border, and the assignment of a dedicated Supply Chain Security Specialist.
- Legend Valve is a dedicated supporter of the CTPAT program's mission and goals. We became certified members on May 3, 2006, achieved our first validation status in August 2007, and have consistently maintained our status since then.
