LegendPressCSW can be used in a variety of mechanical applications, including supply lines for non-potable water, such as hydronic heating and cooling (chilled water) systems, as well as to convey compressed air and certain gases.
These press fittings meet all requirements of the Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC), and have been third-party certified to FM Class 1920, ANSI/CAN/UL 213, UL 852, and ULC/ORD 1992 standards for fire protection systems.

LegendPressCSW’s carbon steel bodies are incredibly strong and have been treated with a corrosion and oxidation-resistant Nickel-Zinc coating to ensure long-lasting performance. Every end connection of a CSW press connection is equipped with an EPDM o-ring, chrome-plated copper spacer, and stainless steel grip ring to ensure a positive connection.
The EPDM o-rings used in LegendPressCSW fittings are resistant to aging, changing temperatures, certain chemicals, ozone, and sunlight. They provide a durable, flexible seal that resists water, steam, and many common gases.
